Fountains decorated with multi-figured gilded sculptural groups were built in the pools of the Upper Gardens between 1733 and 1739. The Neptune Fountain in the centre incorporates a wonderful sculptural composition made by Chr. Ritter and G. Schweigger in Nuremberg in the 17th century. Large Image >

Upper Garden adjoin to the Grand Palace from the south side. This Garden is not so big – 15 hectares. This is a sample of regular lay-out of the first half 19 century parks.
