Marly Fountains

The Golden Hill Cascade lies in the western area of the Lower Park. The gigantic white-marble stairway is adorned with statues of mythological characters and three gilded masks of fantastic sea monsters. The seemingly powerful though hollow trunks of the two Menager (i.e. economic) Fountains shoot up from the parterre in front of the Cascade. Four miniature Cloche Fountains with figures of infant-tritons are set along the Marly Pool.
