The Birch-tree House is one of the most interesting park pavilions, built in the 1780s.
This is a funny house, an architectural trick, whose facades are lined with birchwood and therefore recall a stack of firewood.
The interior of the pavilion is lavishly decorated with moulded gilt ornaments. painting, elegant parquetry, and mirrors. The Birch-tree House, totally destroyed during the 1941—45 War, was reconstructed in 1975.
